The ‘Total Views’ reported for individual GigaPans, such as this beautiful GigaPan of Everest http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/93839, does not increase (it is currently stuck at 0, yet I have shown this particular GigaPan to multiple people)

Some GigaPans views do seem to increase, but not by much.

GigaPan.org site needs a public bug tracking place rather than littering up this forum, please advise.

It would seem that this issue is not high on the list for the web team to fix. I have noticed it with every gigapan I have viewed, not just one or two. Not only does the view count not go up but the explore score stays the same.

While I agree with you for the most part, I can see why they changed the website. It definitely is more modern looking, but seeing the most recents should have been a priority and an after thought. I used to frequent this site more often because it was easy to see what new gigpans people made. It made me more motivated to create them. The way it’s set up now, I kind of lost interest, especially since nobody really looks at them.

This may not qualify anymore as “soonish”, but you should start to see newish gigapan’s view counts being adjusted.

Although count increments are not instant, the views are counted, and updated periodically.

None of the ones I’ve uploaded in the last week have got any views at all, even though I know for a fact people have viewed them (who are not me!)

A fix for view counts issue has bene qued for testing, and should be in production this or next week.

Views should be updating correctly now.

I am getting the same issue on my gigapans. I know lots of people have views, but the views still says 0.
