I notice that when viewing the gigapan site from an iOS device that there’s now a link that allows viewing each gigapan without flash. Any chance that this may become accessible for embedded images?

iOS compatibility is a great addition! It could be seamless if you detect that you are being browsed by an iOS device. This has been done by other sites as shown by the scripts at this site: http://davidwalsh.name/detect-iphone It would be even better if it is done at the main GigaPan page where the Shuttle pans are and right when clicking on the thumbnails in the list pages.

Thanks GigaPan team for your efforts in getting away from Flash.

No exact ETA, but it’s in the works.

Is it possible to add controls and snapshots to the iOS version. When I view the source of the iOS version I see:

var snapshotBrowser = null;
var gigapanControlPanel = null;
var isControlPanelEnabled = $.query.get(‘is-control-panel-enabled’) != ‘true’;

Which leads me to beleive it is possible or being worked on.
