The Bixby Creek Bridge is one of a number along the Pacific Coast Highway in the Big Sur region that were completed in 1932. The drive is a spectacular one, if you ever have the opportunity to take it.

The Bixby CREEK Bridge! Official or not, Bixby Creek Bridge is the only name I've ever heard from residents of Monterey/Carmel/Big Sur en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bixby_Creek_ Arch_Bridge
