Cacao 1300 10.93068 -85.46181 1321 A dry day - not quite warm, but much less rain than any other day so far this trip. Quad bikes up from Quebrada Grande to the crater with Manuel and Dunia. Saw puma tracks (photo) just before Estacion. Traps open at 9:30 slightly before previous years (better side of trail access. Most abundant ants here are the 2x Pheidole and a big, beefy Pachycondyla. 10x13 GigaPan taken by hand with the tripod at bait station 4. Videos of Pheidole, Weevils and large Pachydonyla
