This is a greatly expanded view of downtown Miami as seen from Watson Island.
This 3.22 GigaPixel image would make a magnificent Wall Mural. It measures 19,366 pixels high by 166,385 pixels wide. Therefore, it may be printed at any size up to 22 ft. high by 192.5 ft. long. For further information contact bob@mbholmes.com.
This image was taken with the new Nikon D800 camera with a 36 megapixel sensor. The lens used was a Nikon 28-300mm F3.5-5 Zoom lens which I find to be exceptionally sharp.

Holy smokes that camera is awesome for Gigapans. If it wasn't for the heat turbulence in the air you could probably pick out parts of the picture and say you were only a few yards away when you took it, such as with the airliner. Thank you for taking the time to take the Gigapan and post it with your new camera.
