  1. SE on Tesla road out of Livermore California is Eagle Ridge Winery. The roll of the hills, rows of grapes, and color contrasts drew me here.

  2. Livermore Valley wines are globally known and enjoyed. Clouds, weather, and rain are making their seasonal inroads.

  3. The big sky above the golden vines gave us color and contrast. Clouds are elusive and changing, so rapid capture was required. Many subjects benefit from having a sky and this was one of them.

  4. Livermore California wine country. It is almost December and the grapes have been harvested and pressed. Some of the vines turn to "flame" when we get a touch of frost.   7. The search for the ultimate aspen tree and groves continues - despite wonderful finds already.

  8. This upper meadow is not easy to access until summer due to snow on the East side of the Sierra. Aspens turn to peak colors in the presence of water and fall due to frigid temperatures. It seemed like the temperature was just around freezing the two nights before this.
