GigaPan of Beirut Downtown or The Beirut Central District.
I have created this GigaPan with my Canon Camera 550D (T2i) using a prime lens L series the Canon Telephoto EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM.
As for the panoramic head, I have used the GigaPan Epic 100 and the Manfrotto Tripod 055CXPRO3 Carbon Fiber. For more of my work, kindly visit my website www.karimsaad.net

Special thanks to Joe & Mika. The Beirut Central District (BCD) is the name given to Beirut’s historical and geographical core, the “vibrant financial, commercial, and administrative hub of the country.” It is situated on the city’s northern coast and includes many monuments and places of importance to the citizens of Beirut, including Martyrs' Square. Beirut Central District is sometimes called Solidere, after the company of the same name founded by Rafik Hariri that has undertaken reconstruction of the neighborhood after the Lebanese Civil War. If you zoom in on the 2 red cars diagonal from one another on the left side of the picture, the top half of one of the cars is missing
Vanity Finley (May 02, 2012, 10:52PM )
It's amazing that I can zoom in on such a tiny part of the picture in see people clearly and see exactly what they're doing
Vanity Finley (May 02, 2012, 10:49PM )
