What is your estimation of a number of penguins on this gigapan?

Thank you - I should have gotten my Ross Island penguin colony map out :-) - so the Adelies are more to the north / around the corner from the Emperors... which implies the shelter (and any left over emperors are) is off to the right in this image. Or, are some of the penguins on the distant ice on the right Emperors. Looks like there might be some size differences. Thanks again!

The igloo build by Cherry - Carrard et al. is on Cape Crozier but not near the Adélie penguin colony. It is located at 3 hour walk from here.

Is Cherry-Garrard et al's shelter area in this image? or where might it be in relation to it?
