It was late in the day as I left Lone Pine, CA headed for Death Valley and I thought I was finished GigaPanning for the day. But when I saw these spectacular Independence dikes cutting through the Paleozoic sedimentary rocks of the Inyo Mountain foothills just east of Owens Lake I just couldn't resist shooting just one more...
