The Phoenix lander mission, and this Gigapan panorama, are both displays of artistry in technology. A great success, and a step toward the full mapping of Mars in high definition, from satellite, and the ground. A scenic view of Mars landscapes will be assembled in time, equaling the landscape views of Earth. This scene is viewed from the MRO/HiRISE satellite in detail in Google Earth 5 / Mars as well.
