Notes:
We were finally able to get outside for the first time since we had arrived and were then viciously attacked by mosquitos for the next hour and a half. We successfully decapitated Yurak via Gigapan.
Here we saw our first example of the Krumholtz effect. We saw various brightly coloured species of lichen, a variety of arctic flowers (Dwarf Labrador Tea Ledum decumbens, Bog Rosemary Andromeda polifolia, and Arctic Aven Dryas integrifolia), several frog species (Wood Frog Lithobatus sylvaticus and Chorus Frog), and some marine invertebrates (Caddisfly larvae Trichoptera, Water Boatmen Coleoptera, and Daphnia). Alex found some ants (Formica and Leptothorax).
