A very good crop of barley left the farmer with hundreds of bales of straw in his field north of Edmonton, Alberta. He told me as I was shooting the panorama that the average yield was more than 80 bushels per acre with some parts of the field yielding more than 160. He said he was picking up one bale about every 300-400 feet.
