I was asked to create a Gigapan of the Ashes in 2009 but the job was yanked before I got around to the bulk of the work. This shot still needs some retouching for prime time but I thought it was a shame to let it languish on my hard drive. The master is just over 130,000 x 20,000 pixels and was shot on a Canon EOS 400D (the 5D being too heavy for the Epic with a 300mm lens).
