Taken at El Garrapatero on the east side of Santa Cruz. Looking at the beach and Palo Santo tree-covered hill to the west. Zoom lens set at 300mm (35mm equivalent is 480mm).
This is part of an effort to evaluate the use of high-resolution panoramic photography (HRPP) for environmental monitoring in Galapagos. This work was partially funded by Galapagos Conservancy (galapagos.org
) and is part of the GigaPan Education and Research Program.
