Simpson Bay Lagoon from Yacht Club Port de Plaisance #2 Even Wider by Robert Holmes

This is a panorama of the Simpson Bay Lagoon as seen from Yacht Club Port De Plaisance. A special thanks to Susan De Mesquita for her assistance in gaining access to the Yacht Club dock for taking this panorama. This picture was taken in July which is the slow season in St. Maarten. In the winter time this entire bay is filled with hundreds, if not thousands, of multi-million dollar Mega-Yachts from all over the world. This image was taken with a Nikon D300 with a 300mm lens mounted on an Epic Pro Gigapan Unit. The picture was taken at about 11:00 in the morning on a partly cloudy day.
