A low-resolution view of an area with Opuntia cactus at the west end of Tortuga Bay. This panorama was taken manually with a tripod-mounted camera. Wide-angle lens at 10mm (35mm equivalent is 16mm). No high-resolution panorama was taken at this location.
This is part of an effort to evaluate the use of high-resolution panoramic photography (HRPP) for environmental monitoring in Galapagos. This work was partially funded by Galapagos Conservancy (galapagos.org
) and is part of the GigaPan Education and Research Program.
