-arrived at site around 10AM and stayed until 12PM
-conditions were overcast, though there were sunny breaks by the time we packed up to leave at 12PM; temperature was about 19° C; heavy breeze (canopy moving)
-the ground was wet in general from the rain the previous night
-mosquitoes were surprisingly irritating considering how strong the wind was
-despite the cool and the overcast there were Lycosids vidable around both the creek edge area and the flat area around transect 2
-placing even as few as 2 transects of 4 pitfall traps alone takes a long time!
-first cooperative active search effort using a quadrat size of 8x8m
