Description

This restaurant opened in 1931 and has operated continuously at this location. It has changed little over the decades. (It closed on Saturday, September 15, 2012 under the ownership of the original family; a new leaseholder is renovating it.)

A full view of the front half with the soda fountain to the left and the candy cases at the front right. Candy of all kinds was stocked, many of them molded chocolate made on the premises. (During the summer chocolate, the primary offering, was not offered due to the heat.)
