The stone temple of the Holy Archistratigus Michael founded on June 11th 1108 by the Prince Svyatopolk (Christened as Mykhaylo). On the 17th of August 1937, the St Michael Golden Dome Cathedral, the bell tower and partially other structural buildings of the complex, were demolished by the Bolsheviks government. In 1997-1998, six years after Ukraine got independence from Soviet Union, the St Michael Golden Dome Cathedral has been reconstructed.
