Blue Hole is a popular swimming hole on Passage Creek in the northern part of George Washington National Forest, about 1 mile north (downstream) of Elizabeth Furnace, and 3 miles south of Waterlick, Virginia.
The rock here is Silurian-aged Massanutten Sandstone.
