This is just upstream of The Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This spot a few more steps up from the very senic spot - The Hanging Lake. Located in the Glenwood Canyon, a few miles east of Glenwood Springs, CO, it has an exit from I-70 created only for access to this remarkable site. Hiking is required - about 1.2 miles one way with a bit over a 1,000 ft climb. That is 5,000 ft over and 1,000 ft up - tough for me, a flatlander from Kansas, but well worth it.
