Description

SR-826/SR-836 Bridge 15 with 12 Segments Up & 12 Segments Down as viewed from the East. This view was shot with a 300mm lens on a Nikon D800 (36Mp) Camera. This bridge will allow traffic to move from SR-836 West to SR-826 South. This bridge is being assembled with cranes instead of the Launching Gantry used for Bridge 11 because of a tighter radius in Bridge 15. As a result of assembly with cranes it is necessary to shut down all traffic during assembly. To minimize the impact on traffic, SR-826 is shut down between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M. and the only assembly of this bridge is accomplished during that 6 hour period, in the dark of night. Even with this handicap this bridge is moving ahead of schedule.

This gigapan was photographed with a Nikon D-800 Camera using a Nikon 28-300mm lens set to 300mm, mounted on a Gigapan Epic-Pro. Mycamera settings were F:16, Shutter @ 1/250 sec. & ISO 200.
