Bridge 11 of the SR-826/SR-836 Interchange Project, being assembled with a Launching Gantry (affectionately called "Smooth Operator") by Robert Holmes

This is Bridge #11 of the SR-826/SR-836 Interchange Miami-Dade County Project, being assembled with a Launching Gantry (affectionately called "Smooth Operator") as it approaches the end of it's span. This Bridge will provide a path for East Bound SR-836 traffic to turn onto Northbound SR-826. Once the assembly of the Bridge is completed, then begins the process of finishing it out with installing the drainage, electrical wiring, guard rails, surfacing the road bed, preparing the entry and egress roadway and much more... much like building a house. Once the structure is complete and the roof is on,
the tedious project of Finishing begins. Bridge #11 is scheduled to open to traffic the first week in December 2012.

This gigapan was photographed with a Nikon D-800 Camera using a Nikon 28-300mm lens set to 300mm, mounted on a Gigapan Epic-Pro. My normal settings for a bright sunny day are F:16, Shutter @ 1/250 sec. & ISO 200.
