- Description

This is a view of Florida Bay from the back end of the Wild Bird Sanctuary at Mile Marker 93.6 on the Overseas Highway to Key West. This is a place that rescues and feeds wild birds such as Sea Gulls, Comerants, Pelicans, Various Hawks, Owls and many more who have been hurt in one way or another. Most are kept in protective cages while they recover. Other wild birds, some hurt and some not, who are not residents of the Sanctuary, hang around for the free food.
Equipment:
This gigapan was photographed with a Nikon D-800 Camera using a Nikon 28-300mm lens set to 200mm, mounted on a Gigapan Epic-Pro. My settings for a bright sunny day are F:16, Shutter @ 1/250 sec. & ISO 200.
