This panorama was taken inside the USAP's Antarctic Center in Christchurch New Zealand. Southbound researchers and support personel are outfitted with appropriate clothing for their jobs and for the environment in which they will work.
Here is a selection of standard issue and special request garments for people deploying to Antarctica in 2008.
