Finally a picture made with the Gigapan! This was taken on 08 Nov looking down into Eppstein in Germany from the small platform in front of the Eppstein Castle, which had closed for the day right before we got there.
The only problem I have with the Gigapan is the fact that I haven't worked out a way to properly fix the release trigger on the E510. I tried velcro and it doesn't hold well enough, and while I now have a remote release, I had forgotten it (my bad) and had to take this manually. This is one of three I took.
Olympus E510, 14-40mm kit lens, 40mm. Exposure was 1/30th second at f5.6, measured by a hand-held incident light meter. Unforturnately, we were shooting into the sunset, hence the completely washed-out sky.
