    Yes, motorcycles are common in Iquitos, since its roads are isolated from the rest of Peru by the Amazon jungle, you can't drive there, only get there by boat or plane.

    Looks like the painterly mode of photomatix. Very nice parts but also parts that are a bit grayish or unnatural like in the sky. Wonder how to correct these. Another question I pose myself often. Should the gigapan not have the same composition as a normal photo, only with much more detail; or should gigapans always be elongated because one leaves out less detailed sky and foreground?
