Description

This outcrop is located on Rt 522 on the western limb of the Mt Pleasant Syncline showing Devonian-age marine clastic sediments of the Foreknobs Formation. This is the lower section of the Foreknobs, which is the Mallow Member according to current stratigraphic division.
