Description

This is a view from MSL Curiosity's first science stop at "Rocknest" in the morning(s) of Sol(s) 64/66 towards the later stop Yellowknife Bay to the east - spanning a north to south arc with the true east is marked by the mast. Normal white balancing, slight enlargement and sharpening has been applied. Due to the high compression rates of the published "raw data" the far horizon and parts of the foreground gets pixelated - still waiting for the uncompressed image data to be released in the MSL Analyst notebook (PDS) later this year! :)
