Description

This is a corner of an extensive array of parabolic mirrors. The mirrors concentrate the sunlight and heat oil that flows through a pipe. The hot oil goes to a standard steam generation power plant. There are five separate installations adjacent to each other at this site.

The site is along Hwy 395 just north of Kramer Junction (US 395 and Hwy 58) in Southern California.
