This panorama was made from the ruined fortress of Peyrepertuse, overlooking the small village of Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse in the Languedoc region of France. Peyrepertuse sits atop a 800-meter (2600-foot) high crag. It was a Cathar stronghold in the 12th and 13th centuries.
While I was there, a car rally raced up the winding road to the castle. I managed to capture some of the cars on their way back down.
