Needle Waterloo is a monument from 1815 in Soestdijk, designed by the architect Abraham van der Hart.

Needle Waterloo was established in honor of William Frederick, Prince of Orange, later King William II. He hit in 1815 as the first attack of the French at Brussels (Quatre Bras) off, and held for so long that the Allies led by the British commander Wellington in time came to the French emperor Napoleon to beat. At the Battle of Waterloo.

De Naald van Waterloo werd opgericht ter ere van Willem Frederik, prins van Oranje, de latere koning Willem II. Hij sloeg in 1815 als eerste de aanval van de Fransen bij Brussel (Quatre Bras) af, en hield zo lang stand dat de geallieerden onder leiding van de Engelse opperbevelhebber Wellington op tijd kwamen om de Franse keizer Napoleon in de Slag bij Waterloo te verslaan.
