Took this panorama from Crete Road West on the North downs overlooking the Euro tunnel entrance with Folkstone in the background. Beware - To anyone thinking of taking a GigaPan from this location. You are likely to draw the attention of the British Transport Police who police the tunnel and surrounding area. They are on high alert and tend to be suspicious of people who point big black objects towards the tunnel. Fortunately the 3 officers who questioned my son and I were very nice guys. Once they realised I was legit they then spent 20 minutes or so chatting to us and even went on the GigaPan site to view some of my other panoramas. Thanks guys, you know who are and hope you keep viewing.
Tested my converted aluminium surveyors tripod for this, and am happy with result.
