Description

The Penn State Master Gardeners of Allegheny County took a field trip to Tomahawk Camp, just over the border into Washington County, Pennsylvania.

Here is what the owner, Nancy Marshall, says about it:

“My daylily collection isn't the most impressive in the area, but my whole landscape is remarkable. My grandparents created the gardens in 1929; because we've maintained them as they designed them, they qualified and were placed on the National Register along with my home, the oldest log house in Western Pennsylvania. When visitors come, I give a talk not only about the gardens, but we also give a tour of the log house.”

(This is another of my attempts to master taking 360 panoramas with the Master Gardener's equipment.)
