The Space Shuttle Endeavor is suspended under the Mate/Demate Device as it is prepared to be loaded on the 747 Carrier Aircraft at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Canter at Edwards Air Force Base just after sunset on December 5, 2008.

    Fortunately, the people were standing still during the 1-second exposures. I was shooting with a Pentax Optio A30. Of course the Gigapan was on a tripod. I'll shoot more shuttle Gigapans whenever I get the opportunity.

    Great subject matter. So I'm looking around and wouldnt expect the people to be in sharp focus given exposure time but there seems to be a halo on much of the shot. What were you shooting with? I assume you were locked down on a tripod Again, nice shot, love to see more like it
