    A nice full-frame DSLR camera with a big pro lens can render much much more detail than a small-sensor camera like a G9. (It's such a pity that GigaPan doesn't support DSLRs!). What 12-shot picture are you mentioning? Do you mean gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=1405 7 ? If yes, it was made not with a G9 but with a 5D as well -- and a fisheye lens.     how is this possible with as few shots this detail style? You also have this with the G9-round picture made with only 12 shots! Does It Work?
