Part of the trackway at Dinosaur State Park, Rocky Hill, CT (www.dinosaurstatepark.org Will open in a new tab or window/)
These fossil prints (called Eubrontes) were likely made near the edge of an early Jurassic lake by the predator Dilophosaurus (or a similar species). The presence of ripples (visible here, sort of) suggests a shallow water environment.
