Description

Here's a simple 50mm pano taken on 08/20/2013 during my last trip north for the CIGP (Columbia Icefield Gigapixel Project). I'm still creating cotrol points for the Saskatewan Glacier shoot from Parker Ridge the day prior. The fickle weather with sporadic rain events or even just the high altitude blow-by rain made it challenging to shoot with the 400mm up on Parker Ridge. So since this one was just at sunrise with fast changing light and high winds I went for this simple shot with the 50mm. I hope to have the Saskatewan Glacier shot up in the next week.

This pano shows the peak L to R: a little hint of Athabasca, Andromeda, a hint of Snowdome/Kitchener, Diadem and Mushroom, then Tangle, Wilcox and Nigel. Inbetween Wilcox and Nigel is Wilcox Pass the location of the Athabasca shoot on June 16 2013. Found here: www.gigapan.com/gigapans/133885.
