Hermosa Beach Promenade, View West Dec 15, 2008 by John Post

This is my image #1 follow up to my December 9 posting of the Hermosa Beach Promenade with christmas tree.
View is facing west to the Ocean and Beach.
I went back to the promenade on this blustery evening to capture a more inclusive view for all to see. Shot with my Nikon P5100, 12mp, 116 images, my largest Gigapan so far.
When finished with this shot I turned around to shoot the Promenade facing East but found my Nikon battery was exhausted. Instead of walking away without the follow up image, I put my Olympus SP350 (8mp) on the GigaPan and shot the #2 scene that I will be posting after this. This was during a puase in the rain storm passing through Los Angeles, California
