Description

At 12,972 feet, 3954 meters, it the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. The summit is eternally snow and ice bound. It's also one of the most difficult and dangerous mountains to climb,with only about 10% of the attempts being successful. This view shows the visitor information centre on the left. The mountain is about 65 km west of Jasper, Alberta on the Yellowhead Highway 16.
