Late afternoon shot of the Roman Forum.

Once being just a swamp with only a few humble dwellings inhabited by early settlers this area developed into the birthplace of one of the most powerful empires ever seen.
Here is where there Roman Empire started to rise. To get an understanding of ancient roman life and roman history you shouldn`t miss out on a visit to Roman Forum - the most important archaeological excavation for roman history.
