This is a 360 GigaPan from the summit of Maunakea. They just had the first snow fall of the season the day before, and there was a very small amount of snow. Yes it snows in Hawaii! But in just a few places. It was sooooo cold that I thought my fingers might be getting frostbite. The little rock formation is Hawaii's snow goddess Poliahu's heiau (Temple, Place of worship). We also have a much larger Poliahu Heiau on Kauai. About 100 times the size of the one on Maunakea.
