About an hour's drive northwest of McBride, British Columbia, the magnificent stand of old growth cedar bears witness to the endurance of these huge trees some of which are nearly 2000 years old.
Treebeard is the name give by the local hikers to the big cedar on the left with it's candelabra limbs about 80 feet above the ground. The base of this grandaddy tree is about 12 feet across.

I plan to make many return visits here to record them with my new Panasonic GX7. It does a spendid job.
