Here it is - my first attempt at a Gigapan. I think I need to work on focusing (and brainstorm some other interesting park sites to photograph!) but overall I'm pretty pleased with the inaugural shoot.

I'm using a Canon SD750, which I don't think has a true manual mode, much to my chagrin! I mostly use a Rebel XT when I'm out taking photos, so not having the manual-focus option is challenging. But that's a good idea--maybe I can borrow a camera that has more options and experiment with it. Thanks!

Nice GigaPan for your first time. What camera are you using? I ask because some cameras can be put in full manual mode and you can set the aperture as well as focus and shutter speed. If you are concerned about focus, set the aperture (F-stop)fully closed (highest numer F8 or F12 as opposed to F3.2 or F4) to get the greatest depth of field (portion of the picture that is in focus). It will increase the exposure time, but if you are taking pictures of the parks, you aren't going to have much movement anyway.
