Description

This is a view of the bridge of the Queen Mary. This ship was one of two luxury liners owned and operated by Cunard-White Star. It was the sister ship to the Queen Elizabeth. It sailed in the Atlantic between the years of 1936 to 1967. During World War II it was used as a troop transport ship carrying as many as 15,000 men. Both ships are have been retired. The Queen Mary is located in Long Beach, California. It hosts a hotel, multiple dining rooms and offers tours of the ship. The ship is packed with history.
