Thanks for this spectacular group of GigaPans of Heimaey! I'll be discussing the 1973 eruption of Eldfell in my Environmental Geology class this semester based on John McPhee's chapter "Cooling the Lava" in his book "The Control of Nature". It'll be wonderful to have my students take a virtual field trip via these GigaPans.
