Description

This gigapan demonstrates how such a zoomed in image enables examination of a destruction site in various stages of the process. This is important because if something happens that causes a problem the various sequence of gigapans may enable experts to detect what went wrong. But also it enables urban planners and others to study the history of a location, find items and artifacts that may be destroyed at a later stage of the deconstruction and study items that are too dangerous to study close up as to how things were put together, modified and changed over time.
