This is a closer view of the tephra blanket that erupted from Kilbourne Hole. Some stratification and crossbedding is visible as well as many of the basalt clasts and other debris that was disrupted by the eruption. Good luck trying to spot a mantle xenolith at this locality, though - it's on the south side of the crater and has been long since picked over.
