Description

I took this gigapan during a trip to Winnemucca on 04-13-14. It is a neat little town roughly half way between Elko, NV and Reno, NV. This town was named after a chief of the Piaute. Winnemucca loosely translated means "one mocassin." I encourage anyone that is traveling I-80 through Northern Nevada to make a stop in Winnemucca and check it out.

This gigapan was shot using a Skywatcher All-View mount, Canon 6D, Sigma 70-200 with a 2x teleconverter, papywizard on a Dell Venue 8 Pro, a simple Black and Decker 500 watt power supply, and all stiched together using Autopano Giga.
