Description

A ghost bike is a white-painted bicycle set up as a memorial at the place where a bicyclist was killed, usually by a motor vehicle. They are ephemeral: weather and scavengers strip parts of them away, and adjacent landowners eventually remove them. This bike comemmorates the life and death of an unknown person who died on West River Parkway near the Franklin Avenue Bridge. The remaining decorations give some clue to his or her life.

I've discovered that the memorial honors Thomas Malloy, who was killed in November of 2011. Here's more: minnesota.cbslocal.com/2011/11/27/ bicyclists-honor-man-killed-in-mpls-hit-and-run&nb sp;Will

Very sad, but at least this one won't be entirely forgotten, as your gigapan will continue to exist and remind people.
